Allure, Glamour, Vogue, Lucky… Nothing like a good stack of magazines to keep you entertained. These things are a staple for me- When I’m sad, happy, sick bored, or feeling particularly adventurous in the beauty department. I tear through their glossy pages at warp speed, soaking up every luscious word and photo with undying gratification. I stash them in high stacks under my nightstand and in dresser drawers, I share them and borrow them and savor every last bit of guidance and inspiration that they have to offer. And now, I spend my quiet Tuesday morning cozied up in bed, listening to the quiet drizzle of rain outside my window, indulging in a fresh pile of magazines and daydreaming my lazy summer day away… ciao for now(:

Now that school is out and Monday is no longer a dark omen looming near, Sundays have become one of my favorite days of the week. They’re the one day that I wake up early to an alarm, to serve in the 4 year old Sunday School at church. I guess there’s something about a bunch of carefree little kids singing “Jesus is my Superhero” and the smell of coffee and donuts that fits my fancy. Sundays bring a sense of community and family, and usually have happy endings filled with movie marathons and laughter with friends… Gotta love Sundays.
